OUR NEW PONY, ROBIN

Robin has just come to join us and so far has settled in well, being turned out with Max for company.  Later on he will be introduced to the others in the field.  He is 13.2 hh, 9 years old, and piebald; it is hoped that he will replace Robbie though that will be difficult!

JULY

Haymaking started on 18th July so we are hoping the weather holds and it can be all baled before the rain.  The ponies are now enjoying their summer break; wet weather doesn't bother them, just more mud to roll in! 

JUNE NEWS

Back to riding again which is good, and now practising for dressage tests - Angus RDA's annual competition.
Robbie unfortunately is going to have to be retired, which is a shame as he has been a super pony for us, and has introduced lots of new riders.
We could all do with some better weather, but at least the cool weather keeps the flies down!

PONY NEWS May 2015

Jack has been retired as he has been having some problems with soundness, and our vet reckoned he shouldn't be asked to carry riders any more.  He has gone to Anita at Invereighty, and is turned out with Merry who was delighted to see him.

SPRING NEWS

Many thanks to the  Trustees of The Dawnie Charitable Trust for their fantastic donation of £2000 which we received at the end of March.
The outdoor school is having the fence round it repaired, and should be usable again soon which will be great.  The panels had warped and were twisting out, so we are taking them off and will replace them with another rail.

Angus RDA is starting again for riders on Saturday 7th March.

We are holding a Helpers morning on Saturday 28th February at 9.30 am.  We  hope you can come, and please be prepared to ride.

Summer:  Centre closes Friday 17th July
